Performing a hard reset on a Micromax In 2b to reset a forgotten password will erase all data on the device. Here’s how you can do it:
- Turn off your Micromax In 2b.
- Press and hold the Volume Up button and the Power button simultaneously until the Micromax logo appears on the screen.
- Release the buttons.
- You should now see the Android System Recovery menu.
- Use the Volume Down button to navigate to “Wipe data/factory reset” and use the Power button to select it.
- Confirm by selecting “Yes.”
- Wait for the reset process to complete.
- Once done, select “Reboot system now.”
Your Micromax In 2b will restart, and the password will be removed, but all your data will be erased. If you’ve previously backed up your data, you can restore it after the reset.
